Asia Art Archive 10th Anniversary - 'Beyond Archive' (2010)

Asia Art Archive (AAA) is recognized as one of the world’s most important resources on contemporary Asian art with a public library and archive of over 31,000 volumes located in Hong Kong.

In 2010, AAA celebrated its 10 Anniversary and we were asked to create the visual identity for the anniversary including campaign slogan, identity and visual branding strategies.

An 'Archive' tends to keep records in the past, while AAA is a forward-looking art organization who always have a perspective for future, therefore we take 'Beyond Archive' as our year motive and campaign slogan, it is a sign of penetrating from the past to the future.

The logotype comprised of 4 versions in a series with 3 levels of typefaces, echoing the archive from the past to the future.

擁有開放的圖書館和大量珍貴館藏、被認同為世界上最重要的當代亞洲藝術資源的亞洲藝術文獻庫(AAA),於2001年成立,在2010年慶祝踏入十週年,並邀請milkxhake擔任週年記念活動的標識設計和視覺形象策略。

「文獻庫」往往保存過去的記錄,而「AAA」則是一個有前瞻性的藝術機構,對未來有一套計劃和願景,呼應這貫穿過去與未來的概念,我們以「Beyond Archive (超越文獻庫)」作為活動標語,以三種級別的英文字體,組合成四種樣式的標識,應用於機構平面宣傳品之上。
