Milkxhake is an independent graphic design studio located in Hong Kong since 2006. Founded by Chinese graphic designer Javin Mo, Milkxhake advocates the power of visual communication from visual branding, identity, print and website.
By bringing up creative ideas and unique visual languages, Milkxhake focuses on the creative process while delivering our messages to our collaborators as well as public community. Starting from a very small-scale practice in the past few years, Milkxhake has been successfully pushed up the community attention and attracted a number of leading local and international clients particularly from arts, cultural and institutional sectors.
Highly acclaimed for quality with unique design approach, the studio has won numerous international design awards and their works have been widely published in design magazines and journals internationally.
About Javin Mo
Javin Mo is a Hong Kong based graphic designer and founder of Milkxhake. Graduated from the School of Communication at the Hong Kong Baptist University, he started as a graphic designer for 5 years since graduated. In 2004, he was invited to join FABRICA, the Benetton Research and Communication Center in Italy for one year, where he worked on diversified visual communication projects with young designers from different parts of the world including the art direction of FAB, the magazine published by FABRICA.
In 2006, he initiated Milkxhake as one of the most energetic design practice in Hong Kong. Javin is enthusiastic in involving local art and design happenings, as well as sharing with the younger generations. He has been actively participated in various design seminars and exhibitions in Hong Kong and Mainland China, and other Asian countries including Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
Javin’s works have been selected for numerous international design awards including: New York Art Directors Club, British D&AD Awards, Tokyo Type Directors Club Annual, Design for Asia Awards, Graphic Design in China and Hong Kong Designers Association Awards. In 2008, he edited his first title, 3030: New Graphic Design in China published by 3030 Press. Since 2009, he has involved in the creative and design direction for Design 360°, the only bilingual concept and design magazine published in China.
Over the years, Javin has received important achievements such as the Young Guns 5 Honoree presented by the New York Art Directors Club in 2006. He was also awarded as the 40 Distinguished Alumni Communicators in 2008, presented by The School of Communication, Hong Kong Baptist University.

Javin Mo的作品多次入選本地及國際設計比賽: 紐約藝術指導協會（NYADC）、英國D&AD、東京字體設計協會年鑑(Tokyo TDC Annual)、亞洲最具影響力設計大奬、平面設計在中國以及香港設計師協會大獎。2008年編輯他首部作品: 由3030出版的《3030:平面設計在中國》，2009年開始，擔任中國唯一一本雙語觀念與設計雜誌《Design 360°》的創意及設計總監。
多年來Javin Mo獲得不少重要的設計獎項和成就，包括於2006年獲得由紐約藝術指導協會頒發ADC Young Guns 5奬項，並於2008年獲得由香港浸會大學頒發的「傑出傳理人」奬項等。
