School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong - New Identity (2012)

Following the opening of the ‘Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre’ (CMC), the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre Grand Opening Festival is celebrating the completion of the new building for City University of Hong Kong, which marks a new era for the professional education of creative media and communication, as well as a new architectural icon in Hong Kong.

World-famous architect Daniel Libeskind designed the building with bold and simple spatial forms; the architecture is also a crisscross of horizontal and vertical lines.

Making use of the formation essences of the architecture, we created the visual identity system for the Opening Festival celebrating the opening of the building, a brand new identity is also made for the ‘School of Creative Media’ (SCM) inside the new building.

The new identity of SCM simply echoes with the spirit and the form for the architecture, while retaining a strong visual coherence with the grand opening festival visual identity. ‘Dynamic’ yet ‘functional’ with substance and detail, are strongly presented in the new school identity.

由世界著名建築師Daniel Libeskind設計的香港城市大學邵逸夫創意媒體中心,於2011年10月慶祝其落成並舉辦為期半年的開幕慶典藝術節。

給這座地標性建築所發,我們使用了簡約又富力量的斜線,為藝術節度身訂造了一套完整的平面視覺形象、環境識別及導示系統;此項目還包括進駐邵逸夫創意媒體中心的「創意媒體學院」的全新標誌。

milkxhake為煥然一新的創意媒體學院的學院標誌進行設計改造,緊扣邵逸夫創意媒體中心的形象,新標誌強調「動態」及「功能」,沒有花巧的內容,只有象徵學院和建築物的字體結構和線條,以及豐富了整體視覺感觀的細節。
