'What is your Dream Museum?', Hong Kong (2008)

Client: Asia Art Archive / Year: 2008

Initiated by Asia Art Archive, ‘What is your Dream Museum?’ was a community project in Hong Kong from May to July 2008. It aimed to offer a platform for the public to consider and describe their ideal museum, encourage dialogue for contemporary art related issues. The project sought the participation of schools, colleges, universities, corporations, individuals and the society at large.

We were commissioned to design the new visual identity to arouse the community response to museum issue. Inspired by the famous ‘Hello My Name is’ sticker, a series of specially designed dream museum cards with the addressed question ‘What is your Dream Museum?’ were created and given to the public, people could response in the form of any medium such as sketches, illustrations, graphics, writing or others.

Over 5000 responses were collected, presented in the form of exhibitions for public viewing in the ART HK 08 and Sheng Wan pop-up store. The project received great attention successfully from both local and international community.

受「Hello my name is」的貼紙所發,我們製作了一系列的「What is your Dream Museum?」
